“I like honey,” Jonah declares. His sticky hands rise in front of him like a sugary zombie, ready to attack and spread the mess.
“Do you want a wipe for your hands?” Carlos asks him.
“No!” Jonah shakes his head, so TK sits back and waits for him to finish before returning to wipe the rest of his mouth. “Wan’ more apples.”
“Okay, you can have a few more,” TK laughs. “Just try to eat your honey instead of wearing it, okay?”

At some point, before Tommy found Owen, she must have realized that though there were a multitude of people outside of the ICU praying for TK Strand, there was one in particular who would feel the loss of the man deeper, with more intensity. As Carlos watched TK lay in the hospital bed, a machine keeping him alive, Emily softly placed a hand onto Carlos’s shoulder, silently handing the man TK’s 252 pendant.
Now, Emily was in TK’s hospital room, doing a neuro checkup on TK, who had woken up just an hour ago. The man was truly a fucking miracle.
5 days after TK woke up and the 1 day he went home.
