I sank back into my chair and tilted my head softly. My brows unknotted. “Do you wish to talk?” I asked unguarded, the courage that ran down my throat encouraged the query. His eyes refused to move astray from mine; they had already been tendered for a while.“If you wish; I do not mind what we must do.” His shoulders seemed equally as tense as mine.
“Neither do I.” I said softly, my eyes met his. Unwind me please. I beg of you. I don’t want to talk and neither do you.
“Are you tired?” he asked after a couple of seconds, knowing what he meant I glanced to my bed. “Terribly.” I spoke, shifting my vision back to him. The north of my compass.
“Let us be tired together then.” Reiner extolled. His legs spread under the table as he slid his arms to cross gently.
