Summary
Lance feels a little jarred when he sees nothing friendly in the suitemate’s eyes, and then foolish. He scrambles to find something to say.
“Do you have any rules?"
Keith’s eyes darken. “Yeah. Don’t bother me this semester. Or ever.”--
Accident-prone Lance McClain learns that his grumpy suitemate, Keith, has one rule: to leave him alone. Lance would really like to follow that rule. Really. But his clumsiness has other plans.(Or, 5 times Lance bothers Keith and 1 time Keith lets him.)

Summary
“Ugh, this city,” scowls Keith, wiping his shoe off the concrete after he’d stepped into something nasty.
“This city,” comes an awed whisper from Lance, gazing at the lifeless concrete buildings scattered around the warehouse district. His giddiness was the kind only non-human creatures could have for the mindless cogs in human society. Their warehouses, their storage facilities, the houses for their dead things- their technology.

Summary
He couldn’t hear anything at all as his eyes fell on the sliver of skin peeking through the gap between the man’s glove and the sleeve of his suit. It wasn’t the skin that caught his attention though, rather the little geometrical lion. A simple mark. A mark that, in a single moment, turned Lance’s whole world upside down.
He knew the man was trying to say something. Was about to shoot him, probably. He couldn’t feel anything over the numbness starting to settle deep in his bones.
Or maybe he’d already been shot…
Didn’t he read somewhere that people started seeing things at the brink of death? Maybe it was his brain tricking him into seeing what he’d longed for since he was 13. Since the day the universe itself had engraved the promise of love into his skin— right over his pulse. His soul mark, a little geometrical lion.
Or
Lance was almost certain that he won't be seeing the next sunrise when an assassin came to kill him after he wrote an article on the city's biggest drug trafficking organization. And as if that weren't bad enough, it turned out that they're soulmates??

Summary
He was going home.
To Lance.
To his goofy personality, beautiful ocean-blue eyes. To his kind heart and warm embrace. Everything, yet barely the start of the long list of things Keith missed about the paladin. The distance between them made his heart ache in something familiar, yet new.
As Keith boarded one of the Blade’s ships, he couldn’t lie to himself about how excited he was to finally see Lance again.
-
In which Keith comes back home for a mission, only to be ambushed and dragged into a closet by a certain paladin.
