Don’t cross the border, don’t get involved with those people and everything will be fine. But what happens when someone from the other side fixates on him? Speaking to that boy is forbidden, spending time with him? Basically illegal! Falling in love with him? Absolutely should never happen! But when the universe says this boy is the one, you listen, put your fears aside and love as hard as you can.
June, 2003, Justin’s already in couple’s therapy before he has gotten the chance to say “I do”. He yearns to have the kind of connection he had when he was 16 with that boy who showed him how amazing life could be. For 20 years Justin saw his face in crowds, tried to deal with unanswered questions and stayed up nights wondering what happened to him. But suddenly, he's back in his life and Justin’s emotions go haywire. Why is this man suddenly everywhere? Even naked in his kitchen in the middle of a night looking really fine! Justin is not sure what will happen but he knows his life will never be the same.

NOTES: I wrote this after seeing 'Ghost'- I missed the first 15- 20 minutes or so. So, this is very loosely based on the movie- MANY details are changed. It's more like a 'concept theft' than a crossover or whatever. Just so you know: YES: there is major character death. BUT: there is a happy ending, and Brian and Justin end up together. How could they NOT? ;-)

Summary
Justin decides to thaw the Grinch’s aka Brian’s heart even though he knows it will not happen overnight. He knows it will require some tremendous self-restraint and patience from his part, but he will do it because he knows Brian is worth it. His method though might not be the most traditional one because changing someone’s living conditions usually isn’t the way to their heart, especially when everything is done against their will. Brian is used to the luxury the loft brings him and Justin’s apartment… Well, luxurious isn’t the word one would use to describe the place he lives in but he still manages to make Brian Kinney move into it. Some things go according to the plan and then there are things that don’t go according to the plan but if Justin just has enough patience, it should all turn out like he imagined, living a happy life in domestic bliss… With Brian Kinney. This is a love story but it ain’t a love story like Sleeping Beauty or Snow White. It’s a story about bringing down protective mental walls and learning to give oneself a chance to be happy even though they might not think they deserve it.
