Marriage was emptying out the liquor shelf on a Tuesday evening, after one too many drinks had gone wrong.
And marriage, it seemed, also came with a side of limp dick.
Or, the one where despite recent limitations, Healy still very much wants to fuck March. He’s just going through something. March has no patience for his brooding, so he takes matters into his own hands.

Shane's cheeks tinge red and he rolls his eyes, continuing to place his pads back in his stall.
"You wish," he says after a minute turning to the rest of the room, "The only person I bench press is my husband. We haven't tried any choking yet."
Silence settles around him and his eyes dart between his teammates as if trying to remember what he said that would cause that reaction.
Ilya turns to him, eyes wide, mouth dropped open.

“Before you react,” Cas begins delicately, a tone that instantly has Dean bristling. “I’d like to say I think this is good for Jack. He will learn some responsibility, the virtue of patience, the payoff of hard work.”
Behind Cas, Jack appears to be wriggling with excitement and hugging himself.
“What happened,” Dean demands, rising from his chair at the map table and bracing for the worst.
Cas beckons for Jack to come closer. Jack, beaming like a kid on Christmas morning, steps forward as his jacket lets out an urgent yip.
Jack isn’t wriggling, Dean quickly realizes, eyes zeroing in on the source of the disturbance. The amorphous lump inside his jacket is wriggling. The lump that moves rapidly up Jack’s chest, snuffling loudly, and pushes at his collar until an animated little black button nose appears.
Jack unzips his coat with flourish as a tiny, smiling dog manifests in front of Dean’s eyes. “Sam, Dean. This is our new dog, Bean Winchester.”

The first sound Ilya hears is a thin, discordant symphony of beeps and whirs. Something vibrating.
The next thing he hears is…wet. A sort of shaking, gargling sound, that feels like the ugliest crying he’s ever heard. And through it, Shane’s voice.
“I’m with him now, mom. He’s— he’s not fine. He’s not. I know—”
Ilya wants to ask who's not fine, but he can’t feel his own body, his mouth, enough to ask.
“Yeah,” Shane is saying, only slightly calmer. “I know. He wasn’t breathing—"
Ilya knows there's a link, between the clinical musicality of medical settings, Shane’s audible, awful distress, and his own physical incapacity. It’s just, it’s so tenuous, and the air around him is so thick, so heavy. It would be easy, to sleep, a little.

The first time Cliff saw Rozy and Hollander interact was at a team-building event before practice started the next week. Cliff had introduced himself and Hollander to Rozy, but judging by Rozy's shark-like grin and Hollander's scathing glare, they had met already. The pair spent the entire evening running their mouths, trading worse and worse barbs as the night went on, spitting and snarling in English, French, and Russian indiscriminately, culminating in Hollander nearly taking a swing at Rozy. Cliff finally separated them (“take a fucking walk, Rozanov, I don't care whose fault it was, fuck!”), and mourned Boston's chances at the Cup with half a bottle of shitty Jack Daniel's later that night. So much for a cohesive team.
Or: Cliff hasn't known a minute of peace since Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov both joined the Boston Bears. This problem resolves itself in an unexpected way.

The Nice Guys are handling what should be a low-stakes stalking case. Something to break up the monotony of cheating husbands and missing cats. But Healy is distracted, complacent in the coziness of the March household. March is injured, and increasingly irritated with his partner. They don't realize they're in over their heads, until it's too late.
“Man,” March was already holding another cigarette, probably his fifth this morning. “She was easy on the eyes. Not that stalking is ever okay...but I’m just saying, if we had to tail her on an investigation, it wouldn’t be a chore.” He blew out the smoke.
March was such a pig. “You ever hear yourself speak?”
“Worse, I hear myself think too.”
