“I’m telling you it’s going to be fine. They’re not angry. They won’t say anything bad to you." Seungcheol continued, his voice firm."You’re practically family, remember?"
To that, Jeonghan couldn't help but retort, eyes still shut, “I’m sure that when your parents said that they considered me a son, that’s not quite what they had in mind.”
Seungcheol and Jeonghan go to Daegu for a visit.

Summary
Jeonghan has a rule, one he set for himself years ago. Whenever Seungcheol looks at him just so, and that familiar cotton-candy-soft feeling wells up in his chest, he forces himself to look away first, to leave the room until his pulse settles and the heat fades from his cheeks. It's the only one he's never broken, and over time, he's resigned himself to hiding his feelings for the rest of his life. But his resolve wavers when Seungcheol starts acting strange (unbeknownst to him, he’s trying to ask him out!).
Read to accompany these two idiots on a winding road of misunderstandings, mutual pining, and years' worth of suppressed feelings to finding love.

Summary
'There is snow falling outside. It’s early in the season – Seungcheol can tell from the size of the flakes through the window that it won’t stick. Still, it’s nice to see. Seungcheol fishes his phone out of his pocket, with the aim of framing some sort of picture. Something he can post with a cheesy caption on Instagram, something that Soonyoung and Seungkwan will immediately make fun of him for.
The kettle begins to whistle.
“Do you want to get married?”
Seungcheol drops his phone.'

“Listen,” Jeonghan stressed, “Joshua has lost his memories–he thinks it’s 2015.”
The world below Seokmin’s feet caved. All the noises around him sounded oddly distant, and he felt a sick urge to vomit, nausea swirling intensely in his stomach. Him and Jisoo had gotten together in 2019. 2019–which meant that every single romantic memory they shared was now swishing down the drain.
Joshua thought it was 2015–the year him and Jeonghan had dated.
Dokyeom is forced to witness his boyfriend of 5 years, Joshua, lose his memories and fall back in love with Jeonghan.

Summary
Two drinks in, over bulgogi that Seungcheol was paying for, Jeonghan asked— or, stated, “I think we should sleep together.”
He expected Seungcheol to freak out a bit more than he did. That to say, he didn’t freak out at all. He only poured himself another shot, and took it, and asked, “What do you mean by that?”
Jeonghan shrugged. He refused to drop Seungcheol’s eyes, and Seungcheol refused to drop his. “I miss having sex. I need to fuck someone regularly. I’m done with relationships and I’m too lazy to hunt for something casual. I think we’d do well.”

Summary
“I just want you to find someone so you don’t have to be alone all the time.” But I’m not, Seungcheol is right here, he wanted to say, but he knew it wouldn’t be enough for his mother.
He couldn’t place what urged him to do what he did next, perhaps it was still some of the shame he felt, but the motivation more likely came from a place of annoyance. “Actually, Eomma, I’m seeing someone at the moment.”
He vaguely felt Seungcheol’s confused gaze on him. “It’s still fresh. I think it’s too early for the whole meeting-the-parents bit.”
“Really? You have to tell me all about them!” His mother was audibly excited. “What’s their name? What are they working as? Do I know them?”
Overwhelmed by all the questions, he did the first best (stupid) thing that came to mind. “You know him. It’s Seungcheol.”
Or: Seungcheol pretends to be Jeonghan's boyfriend during Christmas dinner so Jeonghan's mother would finally stop meddling with his love life.
