Of course, as God hated Andrew, and peace was never an option, trouble arrived in the form of a boy in ratty orange converse and a lousy motorbike.

Summary
Andrew Minyard is a vampire. Turned in 1945 as he lay dying on a World War II battlefield, he has since found anonymity and an endless supply of blood on college campuses across the United States. He blends in easily among other students, who jokingly call him the 'Campus Cryptid', collects degrees like candy, and works as a bartender, drinking the blood of customers who are rude and cruel. He moves every ten years or so, always starting over on the campus of a massive university where he can exist relatively peacefully. In his 100 years of life, he has never found true friendship or love, and has never told his secrets to another person, but after Neil Josten, the school's star exy player has a panic attack behind the counter of the campus bar he works at, things start to change.

Summary
Neil tries to be discreet as he tracks the boys as they walk across the linoleum floor to a high table top in the corner, far away from the windows facing outside. The gloomy rainy day casts them all in a blue hue.
Just as Neil is about to look away, the emo one’s head shoots up. He pulls his mask down and the other two follow. He looks around for a second, searching, before his gaze snaps to Neil.
"Yeah, those are the Minyards," Dan says. "They're bad news. I wouldn't try and talk to them, Neil."
Neil bites back the skin on his lips, leaving them raw.(MATURE RATING IS OUT OF AN ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION - SURROUNDS CHAPTER 8)
