Alastor is not particularly popular within his village, his oddities and his solitude working in tandem to drive others away. When he stumbles upon an ancient, forgotten well in a clearing bare of life, he does not think much of it.
Until the dreams start.
In his dreams, Alastor can taste starlight. He cannot escape the sensation of feathers and scales, something altogether inhuman curling around his body. He’s not entirely sure he wants to. When a stranger shows his face in the village, the wind parting around his pale features and carrying the rustle of the invitation Alastor’s dreamt of, how can he do anything but follow? He has never been a particularly religious man.
But perhaps that is due to his lack of somebody worthy to worship.

Hell had a tendency to make everything a bit… twisted. Soulmates were no different. On earth every baby was born with a Countdown written on their dominant arm showing how long the child was still away from meeting their soulmate.
In hell sinners did not have Countdowns until they DID and then it was a heads-up for the real mess to follow. Soulmates in hell had two different roles: the Prey was the weaker of the Soulmates and would get a name and a Countdown usually a few hours before their mate. Once the Countdown reached zero the Hunter got their mates name written on their arm and the Hunt began.

Churches were stuffy, hypocritical places. Alastor and Lucifer thought the same even though they hadn’t yet had a chance to speak on the subject; Alastor hiding amongst the convent for safety from the law, and Lucifer hiding as a Priest because he’d been interested in the murderous omega that kept leaving messages for him.
Funny, how he found him here. All trussed up in garb for heaven, for piety… and he’s been begging for the Devil’s attention, scrabbling for some way out during his entire trove across the southern states.
The Devil has never been quite unkind as they say, but this omega— mortal, so determined to reach him despite his earthly bounds. It spoke to him, called to him enough to escape hell momentarily. Just long enough to hopefully stake his claim.

With the events after the battle with the Vee's wrapped up with a fine tuned bow, Alastor must navigate the aftermath that comes with it. That means juggling through unknown feelings that keep poking out, taking care of the hotel's resident angel and further the unexpected arrival of the missing Queen of Hell. As for Lucifer, he is now faced with accepting his own bubbling feelings and the hurt and confusion that comes with the return of his wife.

The sinner nodded his head frantically.
“Lovely. The terms are thus: you are going to give me your pathetic soul, and go out and—” Alastor chuckled. This was absolutely hilarious. He owed his darling Rosie for this later. “—spread the good word of our Lord and savior Lucifer. Be respectful of our King in all ways. Oh, and perhaps a public apology wouldn’t be too out of place. Of course, remember, if I find that you aren’t wholeheartedly abiding by the true intention of our deal, I’ll bring you right back here and give that smile of yours a little extra work-over. So, do we have a deal?”
My play on a more realistic version of how an 'Executioner Alastor' could come to be.
Feat: No deals between him and Lucifer, torturing of wayward sinners, a cursed duck child, a mounted TV, and attempts to make everything that Lucifer relies on center around him until he is so indispensable that Lucifer can't do anything to get rid of him.
