“We should go.” She blurted out suddenly.
Charlie hummed looking back at her.
“Water break.” He stopped and she stopped with him.
“Where are we going?” He asked as they put their waters away in the bag.
“Hiking. Together. I’m just- It’s something we could do together. Shared activity or whatever.” She wished she was better at articulating her thoughts.
“So, like you and me. Together walking all over the forest?”
She pushed his shoulder.
He laughed. Putting his arm around her and reeled her in, kissing her forehead.
“That could be fun. There are some places around here you’d probably like. We could grab Jake for some of them too.”
“We’d have to pack more food.” She said dryly -

“Get away!”
The villain’s hand froze as they stopped reaching out toward the hero. They took in the hero’s shallow cuts and swollen bruise, and they felt a spark of rage ignite inside them.
The villain put their hands up in front of them. “It’s alright, I’m not here to hurt you.”
The villain watched as fear melted from the herols eyes and tears spring forth, their breath hitching as they stumbled forward into the villain's arms.
“Please.” The hero’s voice was muffled by the fabric of the villain's shirt, but he had no trouble making out the words. “Please don’t let them-”
“Shhh.” The villain stroked the hero’s dirty tear stained cheek, and they lifted the hero’s chin to look at them. “You don’t have to say anything. Let’s just get you cleaned up.”
And though the villain's voice was calm, soothing even, there was a burning fire in their chest that could only be doused by revenge.

Summary
Stiles is in his mid30s and is a powerful Spark who has been the Emissary for the Hale McCall pack for over a decade. He's watched as all of his pack members, including his husband Derek, died, one by one.
So he does what any reasonable person would do: discovers time travel.
The story starts the night that he busts through time and appears in the bedroom of his teenage self. He's determined to help his younger self master magic, coach Derek about how to be a good Alpha, and most importantly, make sure that nobody dies.
The story involves 2 Stiles. The older one, in his original timeline had been married to Derek. In the new timeline, he's in a relationship with Peter, who is roughly his age. The Sterek here is slowburn bc younger Stiles is still in high school.
The pack tries whole-heartedly to be wholesome and domestic and normal, even though none of them are particularly good at it.
