In reality, they're the extremes of human regrets. They are what we become in desperation.Whether it was greed, obsession, or spite for one another, a human and a demon fell in love. The laws of the world fell apart within their hands. A girl who was cast away for her differences, and a demon who was remembered as cruel and emotionless. Their story is one of tragedy but it is also one of perspective and romance. A couple who was seemingly perfect for one another separated by the two worlds they lived within. The world of a demon is much different from the world of a human, even for one who seemed to be different from most.

Summary
Bumped to the lowest step on the social ladder after his fight with Billy, Steve gets roped in with the cheer team. What starts as a favor to help them out when one member breaks her leg in turn for protection from the brunt of the bullying, sets the universe on a different path.
He befriends Chrissy and grows as thick as thieves with her. Over the summer he adds Robin to his friends as well. Meanwhile Eddie seems to have taken an interest in the fallen king, but Steve can’t figure out quite yet why Eddie is talking with him. Flirting with him?
AKA a rewrite from after season 2 till after season 4 where Chrissy survives and Steve and Eddie get together that explores Steve's fall to the bottom of the social ladder and the what if he was gay and knew.

Summary
So apparently I've written more in the same universe as Altered Trajectory and Put on a Happy Face.
In which Billy Hargrove attempts to survive the apocalypse he can already remember happening, while dealing with such difficulties as talking to Steve Harrington, Steve Harrington smelling good, Steve Harrington's stupid inappropriate sailor suit, people being near Steve Harrington, Steve Harrington in general, being a better brother to Max, El, Max's shitty friends, Heather, guilt, his other assorted issues, and occasionally his own ghost, or whatever it is, and the fact that he doesn’t seem quite- right.
In other words, season 3 rewrite plus homoerotic pining (oblivious on Billy's part).
