Summary
After a fight with Adam, Ronan goes to Lindenmere to cool off and ruminate on his boyfriend's extreme stubbornness. Lindenmere decides to give him some perspective, and takes him on a journey through Adam's tumultuous past, in hopes that he might better understand Adam's more frustrating motivations. It is both enlightening and a huge bummer.

Summary
Ronan knew he had to ask for help after the sixth time he woke up and nearly died again. He had lost total control over dreaming.
Adam hadn’t spoken to Ronan in almost a year. The breakup had not been amicable or mutual. Ronan did not understand and wouldn't hear him out, and Adam had run out of patience. It had been messy. They hadn’t had any contact since. Their mutual friends never said his name around Adam. He assumed it was the same on Ronan’s end. They all had an unspoken agreement of avoidance and pretending none of that ever happened.

Summary
It was because he spent his nights on Adam’s floor awake that Ronan heard Adam talk in his sleep in the first place, and though he might not have remembered when he first heard Adam sleep talking, Ronan would never forget what Adam said.
Seal off the wall. Don’t let the submarines in.
When Ronan starts sleeping over at Adam's tiny apartment above St. Agnes, he learns something about Adam he hadn't known before: Adam talks in his sleep.
