I try to wriggle out of his embrace, but it’s like wrestling a warm, affectionate octopus. His grip is unyielding, and despite the absurdity of it all, I can’t help but think... there are definitely worse scenarios to wake up to.
We stay like this for a while, his presence simultaneously grounding and suffocating, until the sound of multiple footsteps echoes beyond my closed bedroom door. My blood runs cold.

Xavier will peacefully calm you down.
And you? Bless your heart, you will have to just deal.But then, the others come tumbling in, of course, you're just trying to be a cute little baker with her overpowered boyfriends and pretend like the story line is optional. Infact you all treat it that way, cue the shuffle slide all around and landing anywhere but on the actual story. A home tucked away on the outskirts of Linkon, them putting out fires as they come up while you bury your head into a set of sexy pectoral muscles because ignorance is bliss.

Being the head archivist should be easy enough but there's something up with Elias Bouchard and how obsessive he seems to be with Jon. Not to mention that his assistants learn what he is as his ex-husband is running amok and desperately trying to win him back. At least the Master is dead...for now.
