Sonic's habit of speaking without thinking had gotten him in trouble before, but this time he'd gone too far. He was prepared to do whatever it took to make things right with Nine and that meant bringing him to Green Hill—even if he had to drag Nine kicking and screaming.
Alternatively: If Sonic had a nickel for every time he adopted a traumatized, twin-tailed fox he’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice.

An AU of Sonic characters in the Wednesday world, so all the characters are human with outcast abilities and some are aged up to better fit the narrative. The stories are centered around Mobius Academy, an outcast boarding school where outcasts can study in a setting better suited for their unique attributes.
This will simply be a collection of random stories, more of an exploration of how this AU would work, with no actual overarching plot or antagonist.

Summary
Nine spent his entire life wishing someone would care; for someone to love him. After enough heartache and setbacks, he gave up on such a foolish wish and in turn became bitter and jaded. Everything changed when a blue hedgehog came barging into his life. Thankfully for Nine, this hedgehog didn't believe in giving up, and despite Nine's numerous attempts to fight it, his "childish" wish was granted. It took eight years and traveling to a different dimension, but in the end Nine gained not one, but two brothers. It took some adjusting, but Nine eventually understood what it means to be happy.

Summary
The plot of Sonic Prime never happened. There is no paradox prism and Nine never met Sonic. He spent another 10+ years holed up in his lab, isolated and alone into adulthood. That is until he was whisked away on an interplanetary adventure where he finally had his “Sonic” moment, but instead with Tails and Mangey. They had to part ways in the end- each going back to their respective worlds- but Mangey accidentally gets sucked into the New Yoke portal with Nine! Having grown up in the jungle with his close-knit family of scavengers, the city is no place for someone like Mangey. Will Nine be able to find a way to send him back home? And after a life of friendless isolation… Will Nine be able to let him go?

Do you like Sonic and Nine fluff/angst? This is a bit like that, but with Mangey and Nine instead.
