“Money?”, it comes out like a curse. She takes a step towards Rose. They are both in heels, but she has a few inches on her. “I don’t need your movie star money. People like me are doing quite alright actually."
Who would have thought, that Rose Landry is such a bitch.or: Svetlana and Rose meet at a fundraiser. It’s a total disaster until it isn’t.

[Author’s] EDIT: Obviously we're already operating on the notion that there are several problematic aspects of Rowling's books, but just in case it wasn't clear from my rather heavy-handed narrative adjustments--I do not support TERF extraordinaire JK Rowling; however, I refuse to let her shitty worldviews ruin my nostalgia or my love of the HP fandom I've grown up with. Just to make that clear.
