Attention all students, concerning your next assignment.
For the Verdant Rain Moon each house shall have the same assignment: To care for and nourish a previously uncared for animal. The animal must be purchased for or otherwise legally acquired by the 3rd of the Verdant Rain Moon and your teacher shall oversee that you continue the burden of caring for the animal until the 31st of the Verdant Rain Moon. This is a teambuilding exercise and while others are forbidden from caring for your animal, inter-house cooperation is expected. May you continue your studies with a renewed respect and appreciation for all the Goddess' creatures.Shamir is very sure she doesn't own that cat. Which makes it all the weirder why she's so concerned as why she's trying to stop the students from adopting the cat.

The cursed lord.
The cruel lord.
He is said to hold court with ghosts, shades and demons. He is said to pray to the Stranger, a death cult.An SI into Maegor Towers, last of his line, the Lord of Harrenhal. He tries the classic SI stuff as a kid and it backfires. He ends up going mad.
King Jaehaerys made House Towers the 'example' of what defiance would bring. He saw Maegor's greatest SI attempt and yoinked it for himself, robbing Maegor of 50% of his land and 99% of his income.
It's a long spiral down, and we're not climbing out.
Oh, and Rhaena Targaryen eventually shows up. She's best described as 'a pile of issues pretending to be a person.' But hey, at least she can join the Anti-Jaehaerys Club.Chapter 3: Meet Maegor's insane battle plans, the ghost of Harren Hoare (maybe?), a book peddler selling useless exposition, a bunch of toy tanks, and everyone's favorite character, razor-sharp knife used for medieval blood-letting.

Summary
In the year 1857 AC the journal of the king that solidified the rule of the Baratheon dynasty was found. The surprisingly frank and direct journal entries give Dr. Hedda Barath a rather unique insight in what life was in Westeros 1500 years ago.
With growing unease, I note that the so venerated Maesters at Oldtown have started to adjust the events of my reign in a nearly utopian narration. Gone are the mistakes I made in my reign, gone are the hunger and thirst, the blood and the sickness, only the glory and honorable deaths are left. Nothing of the cravenness in my own ranks, instead the only ones that were craven were my enemies. Men and women that stood opposite me are demonized into fantasy. I cannot abide this farce, I simply cannot. So in these last days before the Stranger takes me too I will attempt to give an account of my life, the events that shaped me and my rule.
