He and Minerva secretly meet with Hermione Granger, and Severus Snape and asks the pair to give up quite literally everything for a chance at saving the world. This is a time turner fic and doing the math, Hermione starts off sixteen and will be forced into making a very adult decision as part of Albus’ plan.

Harry and Ginny would let her stay on their sofa forever, of course, but they have a new baby, and Hermione has enough trouble sleeping. So she's left with one, final, awful choice - to go to the only place she knows she can't be turned away: the house of the insufferable man whose life she saved the day Voldemort died - Severus Snape.
Snape is, shall we say, not pleased with this turn of events.

His knees knocked under him, the grip on the sink tightening with a hiss as his legs protested holding him up much longer. Damn it all to hell.There was no way he was going to be able to manage undressing and getting into the tub without blacking out in the effort. Quickly, Severus had to negotiate which was worse - asking for help now or it being demanded later when his unconscious body fell to the floor, likely traumatizing his former student further.
“Miss Granger…” he began, voice ragged, “I can’t… do this alone.”
