Summary
You don’t get it. He knows just as well as you that this changes nothing. Nothing will come from this kindness, you will return to your groups and pretend like it didn’t happen.
It’s not like you had a choice, if Nightmare learned of this you’d be dead for certain.
And your loyalties lay with him.
Your chest aches in an unfamiliar way, not from pain, but from something you couldn’t distinguish.
In spite of your circumstances, you share this moment with Dream.
You wish it would last.
But you know better.

Summary
Sans looked at the ceiling in pure boredom, unable to sleep as he listened the guards opening the gates of the inmates one by one. It didn't take long for him to hear a guard slamming his club against the bars of his cell.
He'd been told a doctor wanted to do check up on all the inmates, so he didn't really question it when he was forcibly pulled out of his cell so early.
Being pushed around wasn't fun, but at least it was exciting to meet new people that weren't convicts. They had a tendency to be assholes and not appreciate his humour anyway.
"Sans?"
He saw you, with half of your face covered by a white mask as your eyes squinted with curiosity.
You were looking at him so intensively, it almost made him feel uncomfortable.
"Please, have a seat."

Summary
Hey! I found this story from my old quotev account, and since so many people liked it I decided to repost it back on my AO3. For those who have been with me through the years, this is for you. I can't promise I'll ever update it again though, but for nostalgic reasons, here you go!
__
Monsters and humans are... sort of getting along. Although they technically have equal rights, things aren't exactly easy. An anti-monster gang has sprung up and wreaked havoc around the country. Naturally, a race of monsters who live off violence aren't exactly the type to shy away from a fight. Rumors are spreading about the possibility of another Monster vs. Human War, and things aren't looking good.Nevertheless, both sides are pouring into your clinic after their nightly brawls, but how does one heal a monster? It's a good thing you have a bit of magic up your sleeve, but careful! Mages aren't supposed to exist anymore.
Let's not forget that there's a certain edgy skeleton who fell for you since the day you patched him up after hours. He thought you were an actual angel, and if anyone tried to clip your wings, well, he was gonna have a great time showing them what happens when they mess with his girl.

earthvibes, Mercy.
An amazing take on what would happen post (Underfell) pacifist route between humans and monsters. This fic deals with a lot of discrimination and violence towards the monsters.
Reader owns a clinic and helps monsters. -

Summary
Title from ‘Duvet’ by Bôa
Just about forty-eight hours after his head hit Hawkins soil, Steve Harrington is ripped from unconsciousness with a breath that can only really be described as a wheeze, body launching forward and tumbling from thin mattress to hard linoleum with all the grace of a baby deer.
Everything is painfully slow as he wades in and out of reality, floating above himself for what might be hours or minutes or days, before Robin presses a boiling hot cup of tea into his hands and everything comes flooding back in all at once.
Vecna-Henry-One, or whatever the fuck. The plan. The Creel House.
Dustin, crying over Eddie’s almost-corpse. How light he was in Steve’s grip as he carried him through the portal, barely able to keep his own eyes open as Eddie’s threatened to slip closed. Seeing Max, limp and broken, too.
Passing out.
Steve’s eyes flick to Robin’s, panic breaking his voice into a meek little thing, “Eddie n’ Max— did they—” he grinds his teeth together, “did they?”- Language:

Optimus Prime has always taken comfort in three forms. Research, Ratchet, and gardens. When he reads a poem that reminds him of his love for the latter, he can’t help his sentimentality.

Summary
Three years after the Barrier, integration exists on paper. In practice, it's a quiet disaster.
Monsters have basic rights, documentation, designated residential zones. There are laws that protect them in theory. But social rejection runs deep in ways that can't be proven, and politics moves at a crawl because no legislator wants to burn votes defending them.
So monsters did what they've always done: they built their own.
Two, maybe three neighborhoods in the big cities. Bars, workshops, makeshift clinics, night markets. Humans don't go in. The ones who do are either very curious, very desperate, or very stupid.
You're all three. You've been all three for months now, fighting in a circuit that pays well enough to keep you from asking yourself the wrong questions.
Fell Sans doesn't ask questions either. He just has answers you'd rather not hear.
No good deed goes unpunished. But then again, nothing you've done qualifies as a good deed.
