M’ sorry,” he added on quickly, figuring she must be angry with him; he wouldn’t have been surprised if it turned out he had woken up screaming, the awful sound cutting off the moment his eyes had snapped open and he had tumbled to the floor.
He would deserve her anger, he thought. He deserved all the anger in the world; it was why he carried so much of it.
(Or: Logan trades his anger for comfort, for a night, and finds a new meaning to the word home.)

Wade ran his gloved hands over his face, unable to process the fucking reality of Logan–the whole ass Wolverine who loved to fuck shit up on his own timetable–following instructions.
“Correction: why the fuck, are you doing that?”
“Because you told me to.”
Logan finished clearing the trash and headed toward the closet, pulling out the shitty 90’s vacuum Al kept on hand.
“I tell you to do things all the time, and usually you don’t do them. In fact, you never do them; you make it an explicit point to avoid my every request. Except today apparently. Did I win the fucking log-ottery?”
(Wade finds out Logan likes to be ordered around sometimes. Naturally, this leads to Logan getting fucked into a window.)

Life was crazy sometimes.Or: After saving the multiverse, Wade and Logan deal with their issues and navigate life together. This includes going grocery shopping, making sure Laura is out of the void and safe, Wade having a Talk with Vanessa and much more. He held his breath for a laugh from Wade that never came.
“I–” Wade pulled back, fingers dropping from Logan’s face and pressing over his knees instead, “So you’re fucking digging them out?”
It was phrased like a question, but Logan knew it was quite obvious
“We have a job.”
What else would Wade have him do without the claws? It wasn’t like Logan was charming enough to–at minimum–be a distraction for whatever bullshit Wade had planned.

Moving in with Wade was categorically not a regret. In fact - not that he was ever going to let himself admit that to Wade’s face - this was probably the best thing that could have happened to him. But of course, he was moving in with Wade fucking Wilson who, as much as he had grown on Logan throughout their bizarre adventure, was still a human tornado. Sometimes it was really hard to remind himself how glad he was that Wade had called after him.
They hadn’t really had an exact conversation about how long Logan was expecting to stay. Wade’s words on that first walk back to the apartment had been “Stay as long as you need - until you get sick of me, honestly!”
