For they were too clouded by intense emotions to mean anything. He pressed his lips to John's, their mouths moving in sync with one another. A metallic, bitter taste pierced his tongue; blood left over from John's stitches, but he did not care. No longer did they need to speak; everything they wanted to say was communicated through their kiss."
