Summary

Summary
Thanks to Prauf, Cal is able to escape Bracca sooner than he’d expected. Better yet, he’s able to connect with an undercover Imperial by the name of Tala, who offers to smuggle him to yet another stranger who will bring him to a sanctuary for Force-sensitives. Funnily enough, the teenager recognises this stranger.

At his feet, hunched over and still spitting blood, Jaskier lifted his head to meet Yennefer’s gaze. Her fists clenched at his determined expression, disgust pooling in her gut. He wanted her to save Ciri. She wouldn’t let either of them die.

Anakin is at the door, his lightsaber in his hand but unlit. He looks mildly surprised to see her, but takes her hug without hesitation.
“Thank the Force,” she breathes out. “We heard blasters and then Master Nu told us to hide. What’s happening?”

WLF: so probably around 22 for conception. They need time to bake.
PDS: no one can make natborns that young.
FOX: I’m telling you all. Natborns are REALLY good at making other natborns that young. It’s their specialty.
(Cal is assigned to do some cultural education with Obi-Wan on board The Negotiator for a few days and Cody and his batch come to some understandable conclusions.)

Summary
After the events on Bandomeer, Qui-Gon reiterates that he cannot train Obi-Wan, but he tells Obi-Wan he deserves to be a Jedi. Obi-Wan follows Qui-Gon back to the Temple, becomes the padawan of Councilor Mace Windu, and dedicates himself to being a padawan worthy of a master who sits on the Council and invented his own lightaber form. Along the way, he bonds with his lineage sister, Depa Billaba, gets into mischief with his best friend Quinlan, and meets the Mand'alor, Jaster Mereel.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, unwanted child and then unwanted initiate finds himself a family that spans cultures and the galaxy. And when darkness rises up to threaten it, he defends his family with all the lessons and tricks the Force has taught him.

“Tea!” says the other Padawan brightly. “I’m performing a tea ceremony for my Master, one that originates from her home world. It’ll be the first time I sit foveo with her!”
She says that word— foveo— as if it should mean something to Anakin.
It does not.
Anakin learns some things about the Jedi. He doesn't get it, until he kind of does.

Mace watches the Commander hand Obi-Wan a small, clear plastic rectangle with a series of tiny clear boxes stacked inside it. Each box has a few nuts in it. A few appear to have strips of jerky. At the bottom of the piece hangs a bell and a few pieces of dried reed.
Obi-Wan holds it in a hand, now parked at the side of Cody’s shared bunk, staring.
“It is enrichment for people such as yourself,” Cody tells him.
(Mace watches members of the GAR and the Jedi Order learn that Obi-Wan is and has always been part owl, just like his Master before him.)
