    When Shadow woke, he was still alive, agonizingly alive, and he was falling.

    His first thought was of Maria, of warmth and music and stars. It always was.

    His second, though, was of Blue, of kindness and laughter and souls singing in harmony, until one was just gone.

    Shadow doesn't know Sonic's name, but feels obligated to find his family and apologize to them for letting him die. Shadow is unaware that Sonic is very much not dead. It takes far too long to figure this out.

    All was not well and good in the universe of teenage romances.
    They couldn't leave the house. Reporters everywhere. Everything they did (or didn't do) was headline news. The adults in their lives were only sometimes marginally helpful.
    ...
    But most of all, when were they actually going to have sex?
    (Aka, what happens after Green and Red get together in Alola and the entire world finds out about it.)

    Note: This is a sequel to the fic Scale of the Heart.
    Main couple is Reguri (Red x Green) with a side dose of Wallace/Steven and Raihan/Leon later on. Mostly based on game lore up to Legends of Arceus with some names taken from elsewhere for nameless characters (like Red's mom). No straight up sex scenes, but very direct sex talk.

    Also, warning for homophobic slurs.
