Summary
For centuries, an ancient coven of devil-worshipping witches has preyed upon child victims for their sacrificial rites. Sam and Dean are after them, but as the investigation leads Dean in the wrong place at the wrong time, the coven makes sure neither he nor his brother will cause them any further trouble. They transform Dean back into his child self, leave him in the mountains in a small cardboard box in freezing temperatures and give Sam a choice: he can come for his brother, or he can chase the witches and leave him to die.
With no guarantee that his brother will ever be back to his old self, Sam takes Dean back to the motel and begins caring for him - but neither of them knows what to expect of the coming weeks.

Dean's sick of working his ass off for crumbs, struggling to put his brother through school and keep his deadbeat dad alive he's not gonna turn his nose up at a couple of grand for being a warm mouth for some rich folks. It's easy and he's comfortable.
Then he meets Castiel, and all he can think about is blue eyes and running away.

Summary
A Curse of Obedience is cast on Dean. Dean finds himself forced to obey every “order” given to him (very literally). Dean Winchester was the head muscle and number two in charge of the most prominent and prolific crime syndicate in the area. His name sparked fear, and his presence was enough to make most cower. So for him to be in a police station, and without a troop of lawyers flitting around him, was probably pretty shocking. But for once, he was here on his own business, not the Family’s.
The family in question, the Morningstar empire, were exactly what you’d expect them to be. White collar crimes backed with violent tendencies. They were rich, powerful, and untouchable. Others called them the “mob” but Dean just called them “The Family” and it was the only business he had ever known. Dean liked to call his position “enforcement,” but really, he was the face of their business. He was in charge of making sure that the money continued to flow in from debts being paid, for fear of Dean coming knocking on their door. He was the Family’s protector, their soldier. And he was very, very good at his job.
