There's a war in Zebuth city. It's been five years since the Back Alley burned, spilling dope fiends, dealers, and stick-up kids out into the rest of the city. The cops play cat-and-mouse with street-corner slingers. The fiends keep fiending, hunting for their next blast. Money gets made and bodies pile up. The city jails are all full.
But some things stay the same. Homework and papers. Late-night takeout. Bars and clubs, cocktails and cigarettes.
In the middle of it all, a rabbit meets a gray wolf.

I did not expect hard drugs and Beastars to mix, mostly because Beastars already has two different things that amount to being drugs in canon, if you’re willing to untie what Meat is actually a metaphor for, because god knows I haven’t yet. The hard drugs do mix surprisingly well, though, and this author has an excellent and colourful vocabulary that prevents the concept from being too grim dark on the face of it. The author’s interests are obviously very eclectic, and it shines through.
Haru is characterised in a charmingly lackadaisical way, and what little of Legosi has yet been shown is completely on point. So far, a really interesting, seedier take on things, even presented with a juicy nonlinear narrative!
Keep your eye on this fic. There’s a lot you could learn from.

After a curse is fired his way, Scout is forced to live through the same day over and over and over again.
It should be easy for someone as perfect as Scout to break the curse, right?
As long as he doesn't have to confront the things he's been feeling towards Sniper it should be a piece of cake!

“Oh.” He looks somewhat uncomfortable—it’s comfortingly familiar. One of the Five Classic Gaara Expressions that Naruto has come to memorize; a step below the elusive half-smile. “It’s for you.”
Naruto stares at it, then glances back up at him, searching for some kind of indication as to what the esteemed Kazekage is doing here on a random afternoon with a random cactus for him. He reaches no conclusion.
The first cactus makes sense. The ones that follow... Well, Naruto's trying to figure that out.
