Viktor was looking at his neck. It was hard to stop himself. Jayce smiled, put his hand on the side of Viktor’s face, gently pulling his face toward him, where the arteries thrummed, inviting, warm.
“Go ahead. I know you want to.”
Viktor hesitated for a second, looking up at Jayce’s eyes. Jayce looked at him encouragingly. He could smell his arousal thickening, a dense, sweet musk. Viktor unsheathed his fangs, sunk them swiftly into the side of Jayce’s throat.
...Vampire Viktor prides himself on his restraint. There's just one problem. He can't get the taste of Jayce's blood out of his mouth.

Jayce managed to level his breathing to a steady tempo as he watched his partner close the distance between them, too out of it to anticipate what Viktor wanted from him. Other than eye contact. Which he could barely deliver, lids fluttering in an effort to stay open, even as his partner’s face became clearer in his sight.
He looked delighted.

Summary
Jayce has been restless. Distracted. He can barely focus while working in the lab and it's starting so show. Viktor has begun to take notes on the behaviors his partner exhibits, including a tally of how many times Jayce feels it's necessary to up and leave. One too many times, and Viktor has no choice but to relay his frustration to his partner by hypothesis: Jayce is pent up, and unless he finds a method of release, he shouldn't be in the lab at all.
If Jayce asked, Viktor would be happy to assist his partner in his time of need. For professional reasons, of course.
