Summary
Double entendres have always been a part of Dream and George's dynamic. Sometimes they're suggestive; other times, the double meaning is kind and sweet. A month before his birthday, and on the anniversary of George's YLYL video (the one with THE double entendre joke), Dream falls asleep during a movie night with George. Quietly, George confides in Sapnap about his feelings for Dream, and Sapnap suggests that George should organize something fun for Dream's birthday, then confess to him the same day. After a month of planning and designing the perfect set of promise rings, George watches Dream walk into a house full of decorations and his long-distance friends and family. The day is filled with food, laughter, music, and of course, many double entendres. Later on, George overhears a conversation in which Dream explains to Sapnap that his birthday wish is George himself, and he's been wishing on a double entendre that George made in 2021. It's clear now that double entendres have played a bigger role in their friendship and relationship than George originally thought. When night falls, George joins Dream outside, puts aside the jokes, and lets every admission flow free.
