    Tapping the steering wheel, Simon swallows hard, his grip on the wheel tightening uncomfortably. He and Grace have been dating for eight months. Simon isn’t even sure how he convinced himself to allow the possibility to begin with, but he can remember the why.

    Simon didn’t think he was capable of dating. Didn’t think himself capable of letting his guard down. Didn’t think himself capable of being someone that can be taken care of like that. Didn’t think himself capable of being the type of person that wouldn’t shy away from the full, unmatched power of a sun.

    Some days he still thinks that.

    Grace has shown up time and time again. Has proven to Simon that he will build this foundation along Simon’s side. And Simon’s heart soared as he finally realized it.

    But waiting in this car, he can feel it sink as he knows better now, that building that foundation with himself and Grace was actually the easy part. That the hardest was yet to come. That what this relationship really hinged on was the foundation he needs to cultivate between Grace and his girls.

John's distracted by the earrings Kyle's wearing. He knew he had his ears pierced but he didn't know he has so many. They're all gold, glittering from the bar in the top of his ear to the spiral that appears as if it weaves through several piercings along the shell of Gaz's ear, down to the impossibly thin gold chain that dangles from the lobe of his left ear.

Allowed to join the military despite the restriction on omegas in combat roles, you stuck to solo ops, keeping to yourself as you'd always done, despite the higher ups' constant 'suggestions' that you be put onto a team so you'd have an alpha watching over you.

    You'd never folded. Pack life wasn't for you.

    Until the suggestion became an order.

    The O.M.S.P - or Omega Military Support Program - had been created two years ago to ease stress for alpha dominant packs on military bases, and a certain team had fallen out with every civilian omega that had been sent their way.
