You go and set my heart into such a tizzy only to fall into a sleep-like death.” He sank to his knees beside her, listening to the howls of this cursed land, the crackling of the fires. “Terribly selfish,” he chided.
“Yes, Fangs,” he could imagine her saying, hands on her hips, the picture of indignation, “because this was all my grand plan. To take a fucking nap.”
