'It starts with Richie standing on a small stage in front of a decent crowd. It's been a good four months since his giant fuck up in Chicago- four months since the great Sewer Tour sequel- working title. He's finally working to get his career back on its feet, before he no longer has an agent or manager or all the other people that make his career somewhat functional. They're starting him off small, a test run to see if he's over whatever mental breakdown that caused him to bomb his last show and cancel the tour he'd been in the middle of.

Richie takes an impromptu trip to Florida, somehow it all works out.

Tony didn’t know where this nonsense Steve was spewing had come from. He didn’t understand the logic Steve saw in it, especially after he had tried to enlighten him to the truth on the matter. The only thing Tony did know was that there was no way that he was ever going camping. It didn’t matter how much his husband prodded, or how big Peter’s puppy eyes got, they weren’t going.

Summary
The wood is soft around the knife as he carves in deeper, engraving letters into the old bridge. Richie fights back tears burning his eyes, focusing only on his task until the quiet voice inside him begins to rage.
"If he makes it, I’ll tell him. Please. Let him make it and I’ll tell him everything. I have to tell him everything. Fucking everything. Please just let him make it."
A somber mantra, pleading to a higher power he doesn’t even believe in.
Eddie is probably dying in surgery at the hospital across town and Richie can do nothing about it.
