Flambae is noisy, prideful, and a little bit of a bitch. Robert's painfully aware of this fact. He's content at arms length, that is, until Flambae is underperforming. Then, he guesses he'll have to intervene. For the team.

Summary
"Robbie" Robertson the Second used to lay awake at night, asking every star in the sky for his son be born with some ability, something supernatural that can make the inevitable pain and sacrifice of heroism something easier to live with. Something that can protect his family better than the suit that protected him. It was only natural to ask for an easier path for your kids, even if you know they will be condemned to the life you're able to provide them.
When he got his wish, and Robert discovered he was supernatural, he took it all back.

Summary
Flambae wanted to burn this lying prick into a charred corpse. He wanted to watch him suffer—but even more he wanted to curse himself for ever starting to like this man. He was ready to make those first two happen but stopped short of a few steps when Robert stood up, swaying slightly, a grimace on his face. He tried to talk, but nothing came out but a thin stripe of blood that poured from the corners of his mouth. The flames licking up his shoulders extinguished as he scrambled forward to catch Robert as his body suddenly went lax and his eyes rolled into the back of his head.
