Summary
After the events of episodes 7 and 8 in the Among Us TV series, during Black’s heart-to-heart with the now deceased Cyan, they realize that there might be some life in them after all.
I certainly didn't expect to be so invested in the Among Us TV series of all things, but here we are! It was good enough for me to create an AO3 account for the first time. I got really engrossed in this series because of all these characters, but Cyan stuck out to me the most. Upon rewatching the series, I reflected on what Cyan’s role was, and I asked myself the titular question: “What if Cyan survived?” They certainly deserved to live, much like all the other crewmates, but what if they weren't killed during their confrontation with the imposter? There is so much mystery surrounding their death, as it happens so suddenly and isn't ever elaborated on (aside from their visor being cut off from their body). Additionally, I really wanted to explore the relationships between Cyan, Black, and Purple, as we only saw glimpses of their budding friendship. So, without further ado, here is my alternate universe where Cyan survived.
