“You looked at him nicely when he messed up the food today,” Eri explained. “So you like him.”
“Okay, let’s back up here.” Shinsou sets his cup down and crouches, putting his hands on Eri’s shoulders. “I may have the resting face of a corpse, but I look at a bunch of people nicely.”
“But this was different. It was the same way our dads look at each other.”

Suddenly the boy started to chuckle, and then he starts laughing. He looks up to All Might with a sickening grin. "Wow. I can’t believe I idolized this naivety. Let me ask you something, All Might. Do you think we’re doing this just for kicks? We all used to be a bunch of hopeful young kids. But then we took off those rose-colored glasses. And you know what we saw? The truth. The truth about humanity, the truth about quirk treatment, and the truth about heroes and what some of them really stand for. So All Might, to answer your question, we do not want this so called ‘opportunity’ because we’ve made our choice, and nothing is going to stop us.”

Hagakure clenched her fists in concentration in an attempt to use, Aoyama’s quirk, but instead, she looked like she had to use the bathroom.
“There is a technicality with my quirk,” Sana explains, once Hagakure gives up. “You won’t be able to do everything your classmates can right off the bat. The best way I like to describe it is your quirk being reverted back to when you were four years old.”
Both Bakugou and Midoriya tense up.

The moment Midoriya heard the voice, he felt his heartbeat speed up. His looked at the blank space where a person should be and whispered. “Kacchan?”
In the space in front of him, a figure flickered in an out of existence before finally stopping on him. Standing in front of him, looking the exact same as he did the day he went missing, was a translucent Bakugou Katsuki, looking just as confused.
At the age of 5, Bakugou Katsuki’s short life ended both abruptly and unfairly
Months later, Midoriya still hasn’t figured out how his quirk works, but at least his best friend is back, even if he’s the only one who can see him

That’s when the light appeared.
It was a brilliant green, the same colour as his eyes, that appeared in the hand of the one that was playing with the brush. It swirled around him before moving towards the center of the living room, in front of the tv, and began to take shape. The light pulsated and grew in height before vanishing, leaving behind a familiar sight.
It was an almost perfect replica of Inko, ‘almost’ being the keyword. It had the same clothes she was wearing along with the same figure and hair as well. Everything seemed to be in place except for her eyes. What should’ve been a matching set of green eyes was instead a pair of completely white eyes, no pupil or iris to be seen.

The last thing Midoriya expected was to have Bakugou knocking on his door in the middle of the afternoon asking for help. That was just too unlikely.
What was far more believable however was Bakugou barging into his room, taking a seat on his desk chair, turn to him, and say, “You’re going to do something for me.”
“I- I am?” Midoriya asked, confused by everything that just happened.
“Is Glasses single?”
Midoriya’s eyes widened at Bakugou’s words. “Wow, Kacchan. You know I really didn’t think he was your type but I guess I can see it and-”
“Not me!” Bakugou burst out. “Tape Face is being annoying and you’re going to stop that,” Bakugou explained, confused at why Midoriya didn’t get it the first time.
Bakugou and Midoriya need to work on their wingman skills and Iida and Sero need to learn how to be more transparent

“You’re like Endeavour, then!” The two teens were so transfixed by Hairo’s words, they didn’t notice that the other nearly flinched at the statement. The child continued on, smiling brightly and unaware of the weight of his words. “You both have a hot quirk, and you want to be number one, but Endeavour actually is number one now."
“Ha, there’s no way I’m like him!” Bakugou announced, finally regaining his composure. “He’s only number one because All Might retired. I’m going to be number one because I actually earned it.” Bakugou sneaked a peek at Todoroki once he finished talking, content at seeing his neutral expression.
As it turns out, visiting some kindergarteners makes for a great set up for a heart to heart

It was then that Shinsou realized he was unaware of the white haired girl hiding behind Aizawa the whole time. Red eyes met purple ones as Aizawa lifted her up from under her arms and held her out towards Shinsou.
“You know of each other already, but now you two can finally talk and bond or whatever while I go to the staff meeting.”
Shinsou looked from Eri’s nervous expression to his dad’s blank one. “Are you putting me on babysitting duty?”
“No, I just said that you’ll be practicing being around a victim of a traumatic experience. Keep up, Hitoshi.”
Shinsou may be able to adapt to different situations, but he has no clue what to do when faced with a six year old who doesn't want anything to do with him

“Am I allowed to have this?” she asked.
“Are you going to stab someone?” he asked back.
“No.”
“Then you’re fine. Anyways, the one in the first box is called a butterfly knife,” Bakugou began.

He didn’t expect the flirting with Shinsou to actually go anywhere. He figured it would just be some teasing to get Shinsou used to 1-A, but then the flirting was reciprocated, and then they started hanging out on and off campus, and now Kaminari was in the common room with his head on his something’s lap, heart beating a mile a minute, looking at him on his phone and wondering if it was normal to find it so endearing.
