There is a thin line between dreams and reality, a line that those who wonder often tread. It is a delicate balance, a tightrope with no gravity to ground you.
Akutagawa Ryuunosuke was one such wonderer. A rather sickly writer who wandered across these streams of imagination. Sometimes however he would drift too far to see what was at the end but brought back to the start, forgetting the truths he had seen.

Nakajima Atsushi was a reaper of souls who had been assigned to a certain dreamer that often made their way to deaths arms. It was his job to see how long he would live and make him forget about the stories of afterlife so that he could live normally when he woke up again to see the light of day.

Summary

there were literally no high school slow burn shin soukoku fics for me to project, so i wrote one myself.
Our dearest protagonist, Nakajima Atsushi, is a disaster. He just got adopted by a lovely man, Oda Sakunosuke, and now has, like, half a dozen siblings. High school is also a thing, and he tries his best to survive. Atsushi also has to deal with his over-complicated feelings on Akutagawa Ryuunosuke. A boy he hates. (?)
And all that in the middle of trying to co-exist with his friends' scandals, the questionable motives of Dazai Osamu and his friend? boyfriend? Kunikida Doppo, whatever drugs his younger siblings are on, and a secret underground bunch of 15-year olds everyone refers to as "the mafia".updates without schedule for now💔
