Summary
Most people only notice how familiar they are with their own place when they move to a new city, and Daichi was beginning to understand that.
The party looked good, the music was fine and the drinks were cold.
But still, when you move to a new place, nothing triggers old memories, everything is fresh. There’s nothing to remember about that bar at the corner of the food truck on the other side of the street. The sounds and faces don’t remind you of anything.
Not until something completely unexpected, out of place, out of nothing, brings a whole package of prompts to your head.
Like a smell of soap that brings you back to your gramma’s house backyard. A chime that reminds you of the doorbell of your friend in your childhood neighborhood.
Or even your name, pronounced in a way that you haven’t heard for a long time.“Saw’mura!”
At the sound of his name, with that intonation and said in that way, his mind was flooded by a synergy of memories. The sound of shoes slipping in a court, the burn of a volleyball hitting hard on your forearms, the fresh smell of green grass on a hill, the taste of a barbecue on a summer day.

Summary
It was Tuesday morning, and Daichi was running late for his Organic Chemistry class. He'd enrolled in it as an elective for his degree in Law Enforcement and Public Safety, and if you asked him, he would explain that organic chemistry would be helpful when he took his forensics module in his senior year. In the end, his friends quietly agreed not to bother him anymore about his reasons for taking the course, recognizing his creativity in coming up with that excuse.
For some reason, Daichi was always in a good mood on Tuesday mornings.
He entered the classroom, and quickly headed for his usual spot, just beside Kuroo, who, to his surprise, wasn’t there. Daichi was visibly shocked. As far as he knew, Kuroo had never missed a single class in college.
No matter how bad the weather, his health, or how good the party was on the day before, Kuroo never missed a class. -

Summary
When Sawamura Hajime’s soul is taken from his body, his younger brother, Daichi, is unceremoniously thrust into the world of yokai in search of a way to bring it back. As he travels across Japan with only a sly, golden-eyed tengu as his guide, Daichi ends up finding a little something more than just his brother’s soul along the way.
In which cats talk, Kuroo flirts a little too much, and Daichi just wishes everyone would stop speaking in riddles.
