Kokonoi bolted to sit straight, wide eyed. His body flustered.
“You have known I was awake?” He asks the mysterious young man as he finally looks at him.
“Forgive me,” the blue-eyed man says as he gives a small chuckle, Kokonoi shouldn’t find it suiting on his face, “It’s more to me choosing to be ignorant to your sudden wake.”
“Come again?” he asks, baffled. He doesn’t know why he asks.
The man had his ears red. Kokonoi didn’t know why but he stares as they change shades as his eyes never leave the unknown man.
Why does he? He would never answer.“I was to wash your body,” the man answers truthfully, “Having to acknowledge you awake will make me figuratively embarrassed.”
Kokonoi wanted to chortle. This man is getting embarrassed, what about Kokonoi himself?
He flushed at the thought. This stupid blue-eyed man.

Summary

After forming a somewhat unsteady and fragile truce, the pair end up learning much more about Harry’s past and magic than they had originally intended. The discovery leads to not only Harry’s access to his full magical potential but an escape from the Dursleys in the form of Severus Snape.
I.e., The fic where Harry's life at Hogwarts goes a lot better. He gets the love and family he deserves following his second year and becomes a much smarter and more powerful wizard.
Dumbledore kinda sucks in this fic so get ready for bashing. Snape and Draco also end up being actually nice people.
