Summary
'It was just like Third Life, in a way, he thought absentmindedly, watching the ground coming closer and closer. Just like in Third Life, he'd killed Scar and now he was falling to his death.
Scar may have been Icarus – his Icarus – during Third Life and before it, but Grian was the Sun falling into Chaos.''He remembered Mumbo telling him about something called the 'golden hour' years before that moment. It was something every photographer knew about, 'the period of time just after sunrise or just before sunset when the sunlight is infused with red and gold tones'.
Grian felt like he became the embodiment of 'golden hour' in that moment.'But how did that start, exactly? Let's go back to the beginning of this new Game.

Xelqua felt like he was about to pass out. "Etho!? Etho is- WHAT?"
"Etho is a Watcher. I... helped him escape from the Deep End.""Like I said, I'm admiring the view." Martyn knew Scar was lying from the way his eyes glowed Purple.
"More like admiring Xelqua, aren't you?""He'd for sure let himself be Taken by Them again, if it kept us safe. You know that, right?"
"We won't let him."
"No. No, we won't.""Call me Xelqua."
"Alright, then... Xelqua." The Watcher's eye glistened an amused purple. "My Name is Contra.""Lilacs and poppies, huh? You remember that day too well, don't you." That wasn't a question, really.
"And what if I do?"Or: The meetings between a Watcher and an Admin who just so happens to worship him, a Watcher-Vex and a Watcher-Listener who try and come to terms with their friend's self-sacrificial tendencies, two Watchers who find out they have more in common than previously thought, and a soulbound Watcher and Watcher-Vex who have no clue just what their friendship is - and maybe don't need to know that.

Summary
Xelqua has five Watcher-hybrids in his Flock now. Three of them are on Hermitcraft, safe.
Two others are on Empires, very much NOT safe.
So all he has to do is get in, grab them and get out, without alerting the other Watchers who would seek to harm them.
Easy peasy, right?
...Right?
Of course, nothing can ever be that easy when the Watchers are involved.Or: Xelqua reaches the Empires server border. Will he succeed in breaking in? Probably. Will he find Jimmy and Martyn? Most likely.
...Whether he'll succeed in protecting them from another Watcher is a different question.Featured: a Jimmy 'introspection' in the second chapter

Especially not after he'd defied the Watchers yet again, trying to protect Pearl after she became the third Winner of the Life servers.
Especially not since he could See exactly to whose fingers two of the four new threads were tied.
Especially not since two other threads were going outside the borders of the server.

The fact that, out of those five, only one even knows about it does not help.
