Grian is a broke college kid who shares an apartment, with Etho. Both struggling to make rent. Their neighbors and good friends, Bdubs and Xisuma are in a similar situation. They all have to have lookout for each other, as they are some of the hybrids that have the most value and most dangerous. Watchers and listeners being tied for the top spot, while void walkers are second and shapeshifters being in third. Everything else on the list is on there because they are rare. Not because they're also dangerous.
Grian has thought of a plan to live with some money in his pocket after months of barely scraping by to get rent. One of the richest guys on campus just so happened to take a liking to Grian. The guy seemed nice enough and it wasn’t like he wasn’t also a hybrid. What’s the worst that could happen?
That guy could give you to his father, who just so happens to be one of the biggest people in the underground. And turns out his buyers are even more rich than him and have too much money then they know what to do with.
What happens when they each get sold to different people, who have unknown intentions?Ie; Grain pisses off Scar, which ends in Grian getting kidnapped. When will the guy catch a break?
