Summary
Percy is powerful, that is nothing new. But when he reaches a new level and literally grows wings - channeling dormant siren-genes - he's at a loss.
He feels like an outcast among demigods and he's so frustrated because he can't even properly walk with the stupid things, they keep getting in the way and he has no idea how to control him.
When Thanatos hears of this, he decides to repay a dept, to help Percy learn how to use his wings as a thank you for saving Thanatos' life during the Giant War. And over the course of that, they grow very close.
