“Room for one more?” Vi asks, pulling a bottle from the satchel at her side, half empty, amber liquid sparkling golden in the low light, like the rooftops below them. She hands it to him before he can protest, goes to rummage around the satchel again to fish out a dented cup and its matching straw.
How she even pulled it from the rubble of the Last Drop Ekko’ll never know, but he knows he loves her so much in that moment it makes him dizzy, loves her in that way he hasn’t since they were children, since the last time she took a punch aimed at him.

Oikawa’s no good with being cooped up inside all day, resting and doing whatever it is that healing people do. So what if his last fight got a little more vicious than it had to? He’s still alive, is he not? It’s bad enough he had no choice in getting bandaged and locked inside his own room like a petty criminal instead of the noble he is for the first week, why does he have to stay?

It’s something like this; You are an ancient, arcane god. You are the sky itself. You are in love with the sea. You can’t remember any of this, but that’s okay because it doesn’t really matter anymore who you were or who you loved because right now you are Oikawa Tooru and you are in love with Iwaizumi Hajime.
