Summary
George had just finished a long shift at his cafe job. He’s excited to leave, exhausted by the tiring customers, hurrying to begin his hour long walk home. But it almost seems like the world is against him that day, the weather brewing up to an awful snow storm. As he begins freezing in the harsh weather he gets increasingly more upset, his mind going into a rabbit hole of self doubt. Soon he’s starting to wish for a different life, for something to come and change it all around.
But George would soon get more than he bargained for, as he suddenly comes across a strange green glow that he just can’t seem to resist, maybe he could take shelter here?

“Very well,” It said after a moment, sounding like it was smiling. Why did the sound send a shiver down George’s spine, the dread from before seeping slowly into the back of his mind? “You can stay for the night, no charge necessary.”
All George needed was a place to shelter while travelling. He didn't suspect that the old ruined temple deep in the forest wasn't quite as abandoned as he first thought, nor that its inhabitant would take such a liking to him...
