Summary
After midnight, the lab hums with half finished schematics, dried ink, lukewarm tea with too much sugar and the quiet rhythm of two minds working in sync. Jayce and Viktor navigate quiet confessions, soft silences and the warmth that lingers between words left unsaid.
Neither of them says what they truly mean. Not yet. But sometimes, silence speaks loudest.Bookmarked by SeiOluTheDisaster

Summary
Then, it took some time to learn the rules of this world. Jayce had written them down in a notebook he had found in the cabin’s bedside table. They were:
1. No humanoids populated this world. There were an array of flora, plenty of animals and insects, but nothing that could be described as human or humanoid.
2. They did not need to eat or drink, but they could if they wanted to.
3. Things could regenerate. For example, if they ran out of flour, the next day, after they slept, the container would be refilled.
4. Time passed as it did in Runeterra; the length of days and nights were the same. However, there was no calendar in the cottage, so it was possible to tell weeks and months without keeping track individually.- Language:
