"Do you want to come to my bower tonight?" Chime's expression was odd - Moon read it as nervous, but that didn't make any sense. He'd slept in Chime's bower before, on nights when they'd stayed up late talking and it seemed too far to go to his own, and he'd learned in his time at Indigo Cloud that although Raksura normally all had their own places to sleep, they were often very casual about sharing them with other people.
"I didn't know I needed a formal invitation," Moon said, shrugging in confusion.
"You don't," Chime told him hastily, "you can sleep there whenever you want. I just wanted to... I thought I should ask... never mind."

Ember sighed. "I remember being in his position. It's pretty nerve-wracking coming to a new court and not knowing what's going to happen to you there - whether they're going to welcome you or shun you, whether you'll make new friends, whether a queen is going to claim you..." He came and put a sympathetic hand on Moon's shoulder. "Glow is probably worried about all of those things, and missing his home and clutchmates, and it's our job to try and help him relax." For a moment Moon thought he was just being soft-hearted, until Ember added, "He won't open up and tell us what's really going on unless he's relaxed."

He's shy and a little socially awkward for a handsome Welshman, with his dog Bowser as his only friend. He has a noisy game playing neighbor and finds his petite boss to be quite attractive, despite trying to dodge the advances of every woman he meets.
She lives alone, sleeps alone, and focuses solely on her career as the future CEO, if her father would only retire and quit coddling her. She carries a deep heartache and has let her dreams of becoming an indie game designer wither, until one day her game is mysteriously uploaded back on Indigneer and receives a disappointingly low score.
