Summary
Sephiroth was fourteen years old when he first killed a man.
He was sixteen when he made his first friend.
By twenty-five, he’d killed more men than he could keep track of, and all of his friends were gone.
They say that loneliness does strange things to the mind, but Sephiroth was sure that all the time he’d spent being roped into roleplaying Loveless scenes with Genesis and answering Zack’s pleas for dating advice (despite Sephiroth’s insistence he was really the wrong person to ask) had addled his brain far more than the years of solitude that followed.
Maybe that was why, at thirty years old, he’d burn down houses to get those memories back.[Or: The ups and downs of life in Shinra, from the moment Sephiroth meets Angeal and Genesis to the moment they leave him behind - and then a little more. Starts pre-Crisis Core and eventually joins up with the main events of FFVII, except everyone gets a happy ending this time. Heavy on the angst, but heavy on the happy times, too].

But Sweetheart has never been good at taking no for an answer.With his friends in the dungeons and Sweetheart sure it's only a matter of time until Hero falls at her feet, Hero must search the castle for an out. But the more he roams the hallways, the more he comes to find there is something altogether more sinister here than the frilly pink furniture would have him believe.

Some time, about halfway between having done the grunt work needed to finish high school and trying to write a proposal for a game that would meet his brother’s exacting standards, Mokuba had the epiphany that his brother wanted his approval. It was a startling thought and he didn’t have any idea where it came from but he was sure of it all the same.
