Max sat down on the chair next to him. “This is not our killer, Oskar,” he said again. Oskar didn’t look at him, though every nerve in his body was aware of Max beside him.
“I told you when we interviewed him,” Max continued.
“I read his body language in that interview,” Oskar retorted. “Every tell you have taught me. He had guilt in every gesture.”
“You forgot one thing though,” Max said, and Oskar looked up at him at last. “The effect of you.”

Summary
When a killer begins to target the clientele of a very select club in Vienna, Oskar has no choice but to ask for Max's help. But they must visit undetected.
"Really, if someone has to wear a dress…” Max gestured between the two of them.
Oskar bristled.
“I mean,” Max said quickly. “I only meant it will be easier for me. I have significantly less…” he gestured at his chest, “...hair.” He faltered to a stop.
Oskar sighed.

Many an odd critter and item have ended up on the front porch of the property Bucky house-sits in the Middle Of Nowhere, but a bleeding blond man is a first. A short inspection reveals the man to be none other than Steve Rogers; ex-Captain America, vigilante, and a wanted fugitive. Steve’s stay of a few days of recovery is prolonged, under instructions for him to lie low until the Avengers can sort out the mess that has become the Sokovia Accords. Bucky is pretty sure that he’s committing an act of treason by providing Steve a place to stay. He is also pretty sure that lengthy interaction with Steve makes one prone to impending headaches and possibly ulcers. And he is certain that he is, very assuredly, in danger of falling in love with Steve.

Things aren't exactly perfect as they try to come to terms with a completely different future and work out the feelings that they've had for each other for decades, but at least they get to figure it out together. (The MCU re-imagined with Bucky as an original Avenger)

Summary
Bucky Barnes has finally come home.
A year and a half after the events on the helicarriers, desperate for a safe haven and a chance to finally rest, Bucky takes Steve at his word and returns to the dilapidated row house in Brooklyn where he and Steve once lived.
Room by room, he slowly starts to fix up the house as he works on his own recovery, while Steve starts to circle closer and closer. It's not easy; it was never going to be easy, and as Steve and Bucky draw even closer to each other in their dance, there are new steps to learn and old wounds to heal.
But nothing has ever been able to stop these two boys from Brooklyn, and as they start to share food, trips to Home Depot, late night runs and eventually laughter, it turns out that Bucky isn't the only one who needs help healing.
That's only if Steve can get Bucky to believe in himself and the life they have started to build together, and convince Bucky to stay.
