Tommy taps his fingers against his leg, thinking.
"I don't think... I don't think I hold anything against you for that." Tommy says thoughtfully. Then he lowers his tone, speaking more quietly so that only Techno will be able to hear it. "I'm kind of glad Dream's dead."
Techno looks at him in shock.
"Tommy you can't just say that!"
"Why not?" Tommy defends. "You know what he did to me. I'm allowed to be glad that he's dead!"
"But I killed him." Techno hisses.
(Tommy honestly isn't even all that surprised.)

It’s more of how he’s always admired women. Regardless of the fashion and mannerisms tied with it, he has believed, for so long, that it was the better gender. The superior one. The side of the world that seems out of reach, just beyond his grasp. Something he respects, looks up to, and favors. Something he isn’t. Something he’ll never be.

He felt like he lived in a world of gray, everything was just so dull. He felt so empty, like there was nothing to live for.
