The second his hotel room door closes behind them, Emily turns around and silently wraps her arms around him. Aaron bends down and smiles into her hair, kissing the top of her head. Everyone was distracted by JJ's happy news, so no one saw him lead Emily to his room, hers abandoned on purpose.
"God, I've wanted to do this for hours," she mumbles into his shirt from where her face is pressed into his chest. He hums in agreement against her hair.

"She's still asleep," he says and then continues when he sees a concerned frown on his friend's face. "Sedatives. She needs her rest. It's good to see you, by the way."
