He glances at the little girl absentmindedly petting E’Ming’s fur in the garden. The frustration diminishes a little bit. He remembers why he’s still trying.
(...) Hua Cheng glares at the woman. He can’t remember her name no matter how hard he tries. He doesn’t care either.
Those who dislike his daughter aren’t worth remembering.
