Summary
Neil never expected to have a real passport in the name of Neil Abram Josten. Then again, he never expected to live past eighteen. The witness protection program came in handy, and if his GPA hadn’t been so terrible, he could have built a happy life from scratch at one of the local universities.
Instead, he works as a bartender at Eden's Twilight and occasionally wakes up from nightmares about his dead father or Exy.
And then Kevin Day shows up.
And ruins everything. -

Summary
When Andrew and Neil begin hooking up, their relationship is based on a single, murky agreement; they don't objectify or use one another, but there are to be no real feelings involved, either. It works. At least, until Neil develops feelings too strong for his own good.

"Look, if Erik really did do something, I can get some people to take care of it. We can make it look like a suicide but I don't know how quickly Stuart's men can-"
"Neil, oh my god, stop."
or: Nicky's getting married. He needs a best man, and he'll be damned if Neil isn't perfect for the job. The twins don't care, not at all.

Summary
Neil runs because it's everything to him, but he also runs because there isn't anything else for him to do. Turns out, freedom and living are foreign concepts to him. Running and survival? Not so much.
He went back to creature comforts, the only ones he'd ever known. What else was he supposed to do? What else was he meant to yearn for? Can't want something you never knew existed, after all.
Enter Andrew Minyard.
