Harry’s not actually all that sure what Tomlinson Styles even is, beyond his ticket to fame or any of the other things Niall’d spouted off at him, but when he shows up for the interview and is unceremoniously shoved into an office with the Tomlinson part of that equation, all Harry can really think about is that he would like to be a Tomlinson-Styles.

Harry stood there in the moonlight with his arms wrapped around Louis as the older lad swayed them in front of the building’s door, not sure what to say to him, how to explain himself. But at the same time all Harry could think was that friends don’t do this, two people working together can’t do this. At this point though he couldn’t care less about what he was told he couldn’t do. So before he let go of the man in his arms and without thinking he dipped his head and gently pressed his lips to Louis’ cheek, making the older lad freeze before he grinned softly to himself.
“Goodnight Lou.”
And before Louis could mutter anything back, before he could ask another question Harry released himself out of Louis' grip and walked towards the door of his building, but not without hearing a quiet “goodnight Haz” behind him.

He moves on to Twitter next, where things get marginally weirder. His newsfeed is full of tweets about someone called Larry, and that apparently everyone is trying to ship him somewhere. There are a good amount of people though, mostly his hardcore gamer fans and ones with little crushes on him, that are screaming about how this Larry guy is gross.
Fifteen minutes of scrolling tells Louis that Larry Stylinson isn’t a person, but instead a combination of his and Harry’s names. The people that are claiming to ‘ship it’ are apparently rooting for them to get together, which. Okay.
Or, Louis is a gamer and Harry is a beauty guru, and VidCon is a good place to fall in love.

007 giggled. “You sound angry; have you been doing those relaxation exercises I showed you last time? They’ll do wonders for your elevated stress levels.”

Harry just blinks at his phone. "Um," he manages to stammer out.
"Who's that, Harry?" Nick asks again, but this time he raises his eyebrows and smirks. Harry knows Nick is just teasing, and that he's not really looking for new Harry Styles gossip, but, um. He might have found something. Accidentally.
Harry opens his mouth to speak, but all that comes out is another 'um'. He really needs to work on translating his thoughts into words. But then it probably wouldn't be any help right now, would it? His mind is as blank as a newly erased etch-a-sketch.
"Oh," Nick says again, this time gleefully, seemingly having picked up on Harry's distress. "Looks like we've got a story here! Are you going to call or delete her number?"
Her number. So Nick thinks it's a girl. Well, Harry can't blame him: 'Lou' is kind of an androgynous nickname. His stylist's name is Lou.
But this Lou, well, Louis, he's kind of, really, really not a girl. He's really pretty though, which, is something.
(Or: AU where Harry's in One Direction, Louis isn't, and they reconnect over a game of 'Call or Delete'.)

“Definitely one to keep an eye on.” Harry agrees in an entirely different way. Something about the glint in Louis’s eyes tells him he caught the intended tone of it, though.
Clearly he has some ideas about Harry himself, but there’s no way to accuse someone of being a killer without making yourself look bad or exposing your own background; a fact that Harry’s learned from enough firsthand experience. You either both recognize each other’s monsters, or neither one sees it coming.
