Evbo had come to the conclusion fairly early on that the particles originated from players, but what he couldn’t quite understand was why some players glowed more than others. Ally, for example, had a faint sheen that hovered around them, floating calmly but sparsely.
Most players were like that, he learned. Some were brighter, some dimmer. Occasionally a player would be so dim that the glow was barely there, but there was always something.
EMF was blinding.Evbo has always hated the way that he looks. EMF thinks that everything about him is perfect.

Actually, all of them were. Little shit bastards. Feral goblins. Hellspawn. If it wasn’t Sakura literally changing the landscape of the field underneath Kakashi’s feet, it was Sasuke swinging a sword crackling with lightning, both of them subtly herding him towards Naruto’s hundred shadow-clones, all of which were so fast he could barely track them even with the sharingan.
Kakashi was starting to think his team definitely didn’t have the same problems as the others.

Even with the help of painkillers, EMF barely even managed to stand on his own. Seawatt’s irritation slowly began to dissolve into concern with the way his partner struggled. Why did he let it get this bad? Why hadn’t he said anything to Evbo or Seawatt? They had never been upset with him before over this. Seawatt just couldn’t understand.
“Okay, that’s not going to work,” Seawatt said after EMF stumbled and fell for the third time. They hadn’t even gotten to the Master Layer yet. “Why can’t we just ask Evbo?”
“He’s… busy.”
“Em.”
EMF’s tail whipped again.
“Why are you being so stubborn?”
