I left the chapter count open for a long time in case I ever felt inspired to tell another chapter of Nicky and Joe's story. I may update again in the future, especially when the sequel comes out, but for now, you can considered this a finished work.

"Cheesy, 007," Q taunted.
Bond was quick and brutal, gripping Q's dark hair with his free hand and pulling it so hard Q's whole body bent like a taut bow, only his arse and his shoulders now on the mattress. The cold barrel pressed against his throat.
"Really?" he growled. Q whimpered. He could feel Bond's erection pressed against his stomach.

Summary
In truth Bond should have seen it coming. He should have seen how there was only so long he could hide what Q was to him from those he was trying to protect the genius from. He should have realised there was only so long he could go before Q would wonder why he never actually told him directly. Gestures only carried them so far.
As the gun rested in his hands and he rushed into the room to see a battered Q, there were many things he suddenly noticed.

The kiss was as much a question as Bond’s touch, and Q tried his damnedest to answer it. His lips, soft-parted, were pliant against the other’s, but his tongue slipped over the chap of Bond’s lip first, touched tooth and the smooth muscle of Bond’s tongue first. When they broke apart, Bond looked as if to cry and Q felt a heated rush from the look of unabated infatuation, benediction, even, in the agent’s eyes."

Her brother-sister’s clone was watching her from the next seat. “You’ve seen me before.”
His hands were grasping the steering wheel lightly, but she could see the strength in them and the calluses on the knuckles. She tried to imagine them holding a paintbrush. “No. I don’t know you.”
“But you recognized my face.” He glanced at her again. The road was straight and empty, which gave him a lot of time to watch her expression.
“Yes,” she said, slouching down in her seat. “You are another sheep.”
“A sheep.”
“Baaaaa.”
That shut him up.
